I emailed webuydiamondsandgold.ca and corresponded with an Andrew MacDonald (I believe this person does exist). After many corresponding emails and seeing that they are a member of JVC - Jewelers Vigilance Committee, I agreed to send them my jewelery. I was assured that if I was not satisfied with their settlement cheque they would return my gold. This was their email.

I sent them $10,000 of gold & diamonds and I get a cheque for $42.36. I was shocked! I immediately returned their cheque and todate I have not heard from them. They will not return my emails. I contacted JVC in Canada and they told me they are not a member of JVC. I contacted JVC in New York and spoke to the President. They confirmed they are not a member. They have been corresponding with webuydiamondsandgold to remove the JVC logo from their website. They unauthorized use of their logo is a violation of their intellectual property rights and copyright protection. I have also registed with ic3government - Federal Bureau against internet crime. BB Bureau has numerous complaints registered with them. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has a F - rating. I had numerous people contact me through JVC as they also have been scammed. The OPP of Ottawa is investigating. Please do not send them anything. This is a total scam operation!
