Citimortgage is like a giant golliath who thinks they can do what they want to customers and nothing will be done about it. What they have done to me is so unbelieveable if I didnt have proof no one would believe me. They have been paying other insurance companies out of my escrow account. They would pay 2 ins. Companies and then pay mine. Meanwhile they were sending me escrow analysis that said I had a shortage so they raised my mortgage. I did not discover what was happening until 2008 when they paid 2 other companies but failed to pay my ins.Co. I received a cancellation notice from my ins.Co. And thats when i discovered that they had been paying these other random companies and charging my escrow for the payments. When I contacted citimort. They admit their errors and assure me it wont happen again. But they continue to do the same thing in 2009 and now in 2010. When I contact them again, they admit their errors again, but they have raised my mortgage again by $140.00 to pay for the escrow shortage. I have refused to pay it because my escrow should not have a shortage in the first place, they want to charge me for their errors.in Jan. They paid 600.00 to some ins.Co. I've never heard of.in april they told me they sent off another payment of $1091.00 to allstate my ins. Has been paid up since sept. 2009 not due until oct. 2010 allstate said they never received a payment from them at all. When i called citi about this on 5/25/10 they told me they sent a payment to AAA ins. Of $1091.00 I have been dealing with this since 2007 they continue to make these errors and put it off on me. Charging me for their mistakes. I have proof of what I'm saying I need help! I refuse to let them get away with this. Can someone help me or offer advice on what I can do. I have great credit but if I dont pay the $140.00 increase on mortgage for the escrow shortage they say they will report me to the credit bureau what can I do. Somebody please help. We must stop them from doing this to their customers I have since found out I am not alone citimort. Is doing others the same way. It is either fraud or severe incompetence either way we shouldnt pay for their mistakes.
