I purchased a Frigidaire Washer & Dryer March 23 from "Conns" in Corpus Christi, They delivered it a week later I believe. 1st the door would'nt shut on the Dryer and they came out to fix that. Than the Washer started leaking all over the floor. This was less than a week and a half after I purchased them. These are "Afinity Front Loaders" supposedly top of the line product. I paid $1,285.93 for them. I called after having the Dryer door not close, the washer and Dryers digital led numbers not acting right, the washer putting water all over my floor and the washer locking my clothes in the inside for 24 hours and mildewing them. The CONNS Tech people said there was nothing wrong and refused to replace them, unless I paid them 250.00 restocking fee. And all this was not even 2 weeks after purchased. So I called Frididare they came out and said the whole ditigal computer guts are broke it's all got to be replaced. They have'nt figured out the Dryer yet. "Conns" still refuses to replace them and Frididare says unless they are unfixable they will not replace them either, My question is, what makes them unfixable, if they are already replacing the guts what would make them unfixable, anything can be replaced, unless they were ran over by a semi or something! They said Conns should replace them because they sat in the warehouse for over a year and a half before sold.in the meantime this is May 24th of 2010 and I still do not have a working set. Frididare has sent out another Tech but they are still waiting on a parts for my washer. I don't think I should have to get all new guts for my Washer and Dryer because when I purchased them I was told they were new not a year and a half old getting pushed around a warehouse obviously. The model # for the Washer is FAFW3574KRO serial # 4CO1003748 And The Dryer model # FAQE7073KR0 and serial # 4D01002441And just for the record on the TV they say how you can wash a whole lot of jeans and towels but the Tech told me you can only wash about 4 or 5 if you want them clean because it only uses 2 1/2 gallons of water! Sooooo Stupid, Their FRONT loaders! Than he tells me that even if I get a HAIR stuck between the glass and the closing rubber seal it will cause the machine to leak! Is that not the dumbest thing you have ever heard, what do they expect me to do perform CSI on all my dirty laundry before washing. Anyhow I don't mean to get on you I am just so frustrated 2 months without washing my clothes at home is crazy. Isent someone responsible to give me a new set? I mean I paid cash for them... Thank you for your time I hope you can give me a good answer and advice on what to do!
