I went online to look into payday loans... Apparently National Platinum was able to get hold of my banking information and charged my checking account $99.95. I called them when I saw the debit on my bank statement, and was told that I had given them permission to charge that amount, and $14 a month thereafter, for the pleasure of shopping at a place I never heard of. I sent them a message online, telling them that I was on disability, and could not afford to do such a thing. If it was done, it was done in error, and I would like my money back. I've received no reply, and after reading these other reports about them, doubt that I will.
