09/16/03 There is a $1.95 charge on my credit card from MWI preferred MBR S&H.
09/17/03 There is a deduction of $1.95 on my credit card from MWI Preferred S&H refund.
10/15/03 MWI Connections put a $149.95 charge on my credit card.
10/23/03 I called the 888-868-# number that was associated with this charge and talked to Sandra #10409. She could not find my name or adress in their system. After several minutes she put me through to her supervisor, Patrick #4822 and told me that he had a different database that he could search.
I thought my credit card number was in their system and it was a matter of a typo or someone had stolen my number and was using to purchase something from MWI Connections. I was suprised when Patrick did his search and told me that MWI Connections had sent me a free 30 trial membership and it was my responsibility to contact them to cancel within 30 days or they would automatically start charging.
How did he get my credit card number and where was the authorization for him to charge anything against it? I don't even know what their product is. He said they would refund the charge within a couple of months.
