I have a Barclay LL Bean credit card. I recently made a shirt purchase, was billed and sent in a check. Because I was determined to be one day late (mail issue) they charged me a whopping $21.00 service charge. I find this outrageous! Called Barclay, but customer service said: "nothing we can do, we are not responsible for the mail."
