My children (ages 14,10 and 115months) were taken from me one night when I called police for help. The officer and I had prior conflict and he was determined to arrest me. I was the victium of domestic violencce, but was aresseted and the charges were later dropped.
My brother (postmaster) and his wife (school teacher) was there to take my children, the on-call family services worker, (another person I had prior conflict with concerning a child) was determined to take my children.
I spent 18 months of complying and fighting for my children. My rights were violated numerous times from the beging. For one I was a Colorado resident. I asked that my children NOT be placed in a Mormon home and they were., among many other things.
My parental rights were terminated because my x was still involved in my life. He was not able to fully comply. Any time there was issues with said x I took the approaite steps in dealing with him.
The next day my x took his own life. I asked for an apeal on the decision. I do not believe my court appointed attorney even filed the appeal. D I asked numerous times for the documents. I was mailed a paper that stated that David's (x) death was not enough of a reason to appeal. Yet it was enough of a reason to keep them.
Later on custody of my 15 year old daughter was gaven back to me by the state of Utah, yet they kept my 2 sons. I had/have another child that was born during all of this. Who was left and still is in my home.
I long for my boys everyday. I was nursing my youngest at the time. I have felt helpless. This has been a injust act from the beging. I pray to oneday find someone to help.
