I replied to an ad on Craigslist about a weightloss trial where I would be getting paid $400 to use a new Acai Berry weightloss pill for 2 weeks. When I signed up I was told to got to the website http://www.acaioptimumplan.com / and purchase my product where I was prompted to enter a "special" code where I would only pay $1.95 for shipping.
After I received my product I called the phone number on the paper they gave me and it was a non-working number. I emailed the customer support and called three other numbers listed trying to get in touch with someone from the company with no avail.
A little less than two weeks later I was charged $79.99 and kept getting charged over an over again for various amounts. One charge was for a currency transformer!
I am going to my bank in the morning to dispute my transactions and try to get my money back.
Please don't be scammed by this company like I was! Craigslist now has a warning page when you click on the "Jobs" section warning you about companies like this. Please be careful and don't give these people your hard earned money.
