My husband is in the Bosque county jail due to false alligations made by a woman that has made the same alligations upon other men in the past when they didn't pay her bills. My husband was wounded Dec 5 in Iraq while serving his country. This is how American military is being treated when they get back home by some American citizens of all things.
My husband has been incarated since Dec4, and has not gone to trial. We all know that county jails receive federal money the longer they have an inmate in their jail. They also receive federal money for medical care. My husband has 3 different types of insurance to use, but they jail is taking money out of his fund that I put in there for him to buy his needs saying it is to pay his medical expenses. He has Tricare, VA, and medicare he has insurance to pay for this at his disposal. When they take money out of his account it is called misapproprated use of funds in laymens term theft by a county worker. From what other inmates have said it has happened before. Families are afraid to say anything because it may hurt thier loved one that is in that county jail, but retailation is against the law.
My husband has been denied his walker that he needs to keep his balance, mental
help for his PTSD, batteries for his hearing aides, and now his money that I put in his account is being taken at the jails conviences. I wish more people would say something when county jails break the law like this. Don't be afraid to stand up for your loved one that is in a county jail. They have rights t, and county jails are famous for breaking their civil rights.
The conditions in the Bosque County Jail are deplorable as well. When it is raining the roof leaks on the inmate during your visit, there are roaches crawling across the florr goinginto the room where the food is stored, the room, and there is only one room is never cleaned that the families must cram into to visit.
Just because these people are in jail does not mean they are less than human as well. There was even a guard that to one of my husband's insurance companies that he was guilty because he was in jail. When Beth the suporvisor was told of this she claimed that she believes her people over the inmates anyday.
How much is justice going for today? What is the dollar sign we put on innacent till proven guilty in the United States? Like my husband he was wounded fighting for this country, and al it took was a drunken drug user that did nothing with her life but collect welfare and live with different men and have her children living with a convicted sex offender to make a claim and a wounded warrior that was medical, honorablly retired from the army guilty because the D. A of Bosque County is needing the funds for each day an inmate is in there. It is a broke county you see. Look up the Bosque County Texas web site sometime it is a bunch of old men that have been in office way to long. It is called the good ole boys club.
