Cannot fix what they break

I entered into a contract with Guy Smith Heating and Cooling Inc. For them to replace my heating exchange unit. They had to order the heat exchanger and I had to wait for it to come in. I had no problem with this because the technician had fixed the unit so that I could still operate the A/C for my home to be comfortable. Upon receiving the part the company scheduled a date for install. The technician came to my house, while I was at work, started the job and found out that he had the wrong part. The problem is that the President Kenneth Smith refused to have the technician come back to my house to fix the A/C portion of my unit that was working when they started work. They started the work, made my unit inoperable and left it without informing me about the problem that they had encountered. Since I had been at work, and had not been contacted, I had no way to know that they had broken my HVAC. So when I finally did get home, at 420pm, I found the problem that had been inconsiderately left. Now I would not have made a phone call, or even cared if it was only me that had to endure one night without the AC. But, I needed the A/C for my Mother to be comfortable. My mother is 77, in very; very poor health is on oxygen and has Afib heart disease. It is imperative that she have a comfortable atmosphere in order for her blood pressure not to rise. She has panics attacks when this happens has to be taken to the hospital to stabilize her. Mr. Smith refused to have a technician come out and alleviate the problem. They would not be out until the following day and when I explained that it was 78 degrees and very uncomfortable he could only say its 60 degrees outside and he did not see that there was a problem. Very cold hearted and uncaring for the physical well being of my mother. When I stated that I was not satisfied and that I would not pay for the labor when they install the unit. Only for the price of the part. He, of course, said that I would because of the contract I signed. When I said that the contract I signed was to fix my unit and not break the part that was working. He really did not care. He offered nothing to provide me with a means to come to an agreement to satisfy my frustration and alleviate the state of mental anguish that his company has caused me. I would have been satisfied if he had someone bring out fans to my house to cool it down. Nothing... Absolutely nothing... Since he felt that it was comfortable for him it was not a problem.
