Re: Ripoff: Stranded me and my party in Las Vegas
when they cancelled my reservation without my
knowledge. We were 3,000 miles from home in Las
Vegas on a holiday weekend and no place to stay
when we arrived at the welcome center. We were
refused accommodations of equal or greater value
as was stated in my original confirmation and had
to fend for ourselves. Having put extra money out
for sub standard accommodations which was all we
found available I requested only to have my out of
pocket money refunded but was flatly refused.
Ramada Plaza Resort (The next Affiliate Company I must deal with to use my Florida portion of my packages) Because of the loss of money for the Las Vegas trip plus the money I had to put out a second time for accommodations, I was sceptical to trust the companies involved and checked online only to find the consumer complaintss on the Ramada Plaza Resort. I immediately
cancelled my packages and was refused any refunds.
I was told by one of the employees the mother company
usually declares bankrupsy and changes names therefore no money can be had on any suits, and that I should do whatever I feel I must do, however it will be to no avail.
I purchased the two packages in August knowingly they were good for three years. Therefore I did nothing with them until I was able to travel. Now they tell me its too late to complain for any refunds. Like everyone else that was scammed, I too would like help in getting refunded. What's a person to do?
