On January 31 I purchased a Black Leather Sleeper Sofa from Fine Interiors in Mentor Ohio. We reurned to the store in order to purchase the matching sofa to the two Reclyners that we purchased in November (but did not receive until January after stopping payment on the credit card, we finally received our chairs). We thought that we would go back and buy the matching sofa. Once again we were promised a two week delivery. On Monday 2/15/10 A Uhaul truck attemped to deliver our sofa at apporximately 7:30 pm. As the sofa was coming into our home, we discovered that it was Red Leather and Black. The delivery men became adjitated when we refused the delivery. They tried pressuring us into signing for the delivery, then tried to get us to accept the delivery as a loaner. We refused. The men put the sofa back on the Uhaul and left. Friday, February 26 at approximately 6:00 pm, we received a call from the Fine Interiors drivers that they would be at our home for a delivery in about 1 1/2. At 9:30 pm they arrived with another delivery, a Black Leather sofa, NOT A SLEEPER. Once again the drivers tried to convince us to accept the delivery on a loanar basis, Again, we refused. Yesterday February 27, I called the store to report the delivery and was spoken to very rudely by a woman and I was then hung up on. A few moments later the Salesman who sol us the sofa informed us that the sofa did not come in a sofa sleeper. I explained to him that I saw a picture of the sofa and that his broscure said that it came in a sofa sleeper. I also informed him of how rude the woman was who took the call. I informed him that I would stop by the store to see what he had in a sleeper sofa. (A very nice conversation), Last night my husband and I wend into the store, Two young men were there, We did not tell them who we were. We struck up a deal on another sofa sleeper for $700.00, to be delivered in two weeks. We went to the desk and informed them of who we were and that we had to failed deliveries. The young man called the manager that we had been dealing with, came back to us and said that he would not sell us the new sleeper sofa, and that we could have our money back, they did not want our business. The men began yelling at us to leave there store and threatened to call the police. I told them to go ahead a call them and they did. We stayed out in our car for a few moments and 3 men came outside to intimidate us, so we left. On the way home we called the police and said that we would be in the next day to file a complaint. We will be stopping payment on our credit card today and will nevery return to the store.
