In Nov I called our local Aarons store to see if they had a stackable unit, they did, told me it had been used 2-3 weeks. I agreed for them to deliver it the next day. They did not show up when they said they would, I had to go to work. They showed later that day and allowed my 15 year old daughter sign for this. Kepp in mind, I got no manuals with this unit, nor did I get to inspect it before it was left here. It seemed ok, I TRUSTED them, although I knew they should have NEVER done this. Summer the washer stopped spinning, the tub would not move. I called and was told it must be stopped up if the water was not draining out, and AGAIN explained the water drained out, the tub WOULD NOT MOVE. So, I was told they would call me to set up a time to come look at it. Never happened. So, somehow the washer started working again, so I didn't cause a fuss. The next thing that went wrong was the dryer. I called them and told them it would not turn, they were going to call the repair people and set up a time for them to come look at it. I had to repeatedly call Aarons to see when the repair people were coming, was told they were waiting on the repair people to call back. The last time I called Aarons, I was told their repair people did not service my area!!! So, needless to say, I argued with them, the Aarons people assured me they would call this place back and get them to come to my house. Aarons NEVER called me back, once AGAIN, I had to call them, they still had no answers for me! So, I was rather mad at this point, so I called the repair shop myself... Turns out Aarons had NEVER called them! So, I called Aarons back, told them what I had found out... My warranty was to run out in about 3 days at this point, the store manager THEN got on the phone with the repair shop and set up a time for them to come to my house. When the repair guy got here, he informed me that my unit had been taken apart before and worked on... Keep in mind it was supposedly only used for 2-3 weeks. So, this guy fixed it. So I call Aarons, ask how long it was used BEFORE I got it, was told they didnt have that info, couldnt get it. Ok, next thing to go is my washer, tub will not spin... Keep in mind I reported this back in summer, and no one returned my calls from Aarons, but it fixed itself somehow then, but has the same problem now. My warranty is out now... Regardless, I call Aarons back. This should have been taken care of in summer. They will not do ANYTHING!!! I feel like they came into my house with my 15 yr old daughter alone, allowed her to sign for this delivery... Which is NOT legal, I NEVER EVEN HAD to pay for this stuff, they are at fault and should take care of this! They owe me a NEW UNIT or my $ so I can go buy a new unit! I even offered to bring this piece of garbage back to them if they would just refund my money, seeing as how I have been lied to, swindle, and put off by them. They dont agree. They were supposed to call me today around 11 AM, they never called... Typical
