In July I switched home phone service from bellsouth (at&T) and received a final bill from AT&T which was paid on my online banking at bank of America 6 mos later received a letter from Franklin collectio agency saying this was not paid, had bank of America fax proof of payment, they continued to call and told me AT&T had not released claim yet, sent a letter telling them not to call or contact me again that they have received proof of payment. Did not hear from anyone until 10/1010 when I was notified by Eos cca tht they wanted to collect this debt, again had Bank of America send proof of payment, the calls did not stop.in Dec they sent me a postcard saying that all actions would stop if I would send $79.00.By this time I was so frustrated that I just sent the $79.00. A month later there was a negative action placed on my credit report by this company although I actually paid $79.00 more then I owed, These agencys just dont stop, when I contacted them by phone after seeing the negative report they told me to bad
