Went to his shop and agreed to purchase some dummy thompson recievers for display purposes. Actually had to go there because first two that I bought were machined wrong. Spent about 5 hours explaining what was wrong and why and how to corrrect it — SEEMS the master machinist cannot read a blue print, and missed a machining step. Left five complete 1928 thompson front Recievers, complete with barrel; handguard bracket and flash hider. FRANK said my barrels were the best he had ever seen— Son Anthony Wierus was there also. Left part to be qouted on also; Namely MG 34 german reciever I wanted a dummy made out of; I left a complete torch cut reciever so that hey could make a CAD drawing; also a 1919A6 Bipod yoke I wanted to make. He took or wanted a 1928 thompson rear sight from me Value $300.00 I though we had a deal but a week later he calls me and said he couldn't make anything because he had a government contract! I told him ship all my stuff back to me and he tells me he made the dummy recievers and wanted like $2500.00 for 5 of them when he qouted me $300.00 a piece. He returns something to me in a flat rate box through the USPS naturally uninsured; box arrives split open — most contents missing ; last piece of MG 34 reciever was worthless without other parts.
I sue him in Court and he sends a letter to the court on government stationary that says he is a government contracter involved in vital government work—Court has him on phone and he tells them that he will settle this up— Never does and now thinks it is funny! I don't think this is funny I am out Around $3000.00 plus in parts and this whole deal is a big mess Seems the Wierus family, Frank, Anthony, are both crooks!!
