I am currently unemployed and using the internet as my primary job hunting resource. When searching for government jobs, I found the website www.postalexamoffice.com from a google link stating that government stimulus jobs were available. It seemed very convincing and legitimate. It also had the google safe site logo next to the link. Yeah right.
After taking a very simple 4 part eligibility quiz, you are asked to submit your billing information to receive a study packet for the test you must pass to be considered for a post office job. It states you will be charged 29.95 which they claim is refundable in the body copy, but at the very bottom of the page, it says that no refunds will be given. They then chrage you an additional 19.95 for a yearly access fee. This hidden fee is only mentioned in the terms of agreement that you must click to make your "purchase".
This website serves only one purpose. They will take 50 dollars of your hard earned money, say they charged you for a service and leave you with absolutely nothing to show for it. It's a ripoff. The people who are looking for jobs are being harmed by this, and they are the ones hurting the most right now. Everyone who has fallen victim to this scam deserves their money back, and these lowlife ripoff artists should be imprisioned.
