Goverment Jobs Scam! Listings in LA Times under 21-80$ an Hour government Jobs

In the LA Times, there is a listing that says it is now hiring government workers for $21 to $80 or so dollars. You make a call to a 1-800 # which will direct you to the secretary. She will take down your name and number and says someone will get back to you.in an hour or two, a woman named Joy Obi will call and ask when you want to come in for an interview for these high paying jobs. She tells you to bring an ID, a resume, and soc sec #. She never mentions any sort of fee.

The day of your interview you go in and meet this Joy Obi. She tells you that you need to take a test and also to give her the 10$ fee that goes along with this exam, even though it isn't mentioned in the listing or in the phone calls. After this you take a bizarre little test with subjective questions like: "I want to get a job to: A: Make Money B: Work Hard C: Be dependable." Obviously there is no right or wrong answer. There are also questions that tell you finish a list of data numbers that have no rythme or reason. The object of the test is to show that you won't pass a government exam.

Once you go back to Joy Obi, she shows you how you got less than 75%. I'm an excellent test taker and scored very high on my SATs and ACTs. As such, I was surprised that she told me I needed help on my skills. I asked to see the answer sheet and confronted her, as she had marked me off for the subjective question, where there is no wrong answer by saying it's an economics question and assuring me that she took econ 101 in college. I also didn't get a fill in the blank which said "The girls was/were trying to run." I answered it "were" and she said the correct answer should be "was" because of the subjunctive tense. I told her she was wrong or should I say 'she were wrong', as I meant it in the subjuncitve tense. I then confronted her about the hidden $10 fee which was never mentioned. She through the 10 dollars back at me and told me to "Get the f* out." She then informed me that "35k (my salary) ain't shit and I wasn't good enough for her help."

Basically, this is a scam that has nothing to do with government jobs and everything to do with confusing people with tests, taking their money and showing them the door. There is absolutely no tie in with the government and I'm fairly sure that the business can be shut down. It is on 4942 Vineland Ave. #102, North Hollywood, CA 91601. Don't go there, it will only waste your time, money, and gas. Joy Obi is disrespectful, patronizing, a leach, a parasite and unbelievably low on morals, as well as intelligence as well as personal hygiene. Please spread the word, so they won't prey on people who have been mislead by the listings and phone calls.
