I was interested in switching to AT&T and called and chatted with online customer service about switching. I asked over and over again will I have to pay anything if I return within 30 days. I was answered with "No you will not to pay anything" I switched and ordered my phones, got them, and activated them. I ordered 2 lines and when I got my first bill had 3 lines. I never activated a 3rd line. I did port 2 numbers and had to be done whn i received the phones. I never used the new phone with the new number. I called two or three time to find out what our monthly bill would be and no one could tell us. I told the customer service rep that if I wait for the bill that it would past the 30days. I received a moch bill and it was extreamly high.in fact higher then I was paying with my last service. I then returned the service and the phones. I went to the local store and returned the phones. I asked the girl behind the counter If I was completly done with AT&T? Andshe replied with "you are done with at&t and your money will go back on your credit card. June 27 I received a bill for $590.84. I signed up with a discount on my service and when the bill cam I did not receive the discount (bait and switch) mistake or not I am charged more then when I signed up. I then called customer service and Jessica the supervisor, needs a hard lesson about treating people. She answered the phone "this is Jessica you want to talk to me?" I said "excuse me?" she repeated herself the same way. Then while talking she assumes I am uneducated and or stupid. I assure you I have enough education to be a call center supervisor. They call it High School. I ended the call with "I will be making sure to include Rosemary and Jessica in my letter to the BBB. Good day." I then hung up. Next Jessica, i guess, decided to harrass me. She calls and I answer and in a condisending tone says what sounds to holding laughter in "This is Jessica and I think we got cut off." It was an unlisted phone call and I believe it was after 9pm and I assure you I was very clear when I ended my phone call with her. If I am correct, I believe AT&T called my house after the allowed time of 8am - 9pm. I belive AT&T has very uneducated employee untill they need to collect money. Now I am not going to pay and if I am made to pay I will addressing every violation that needs to be addressed. I have a start up receipt with a discount and first bill that is more. Harrasing phone calls after 9pm.
