I have had 2 cingular phones since September. I got the phones through SBC my local phone carrier and got 2 phones, 2 rebate forms for the phones ($40 each so they were free). I initally signed up for the 300 anytime minutes and 5000 N/W on each phone.

Activated the phones... 1 week later I get a disconnection notice that I have not paid my bill! I called and got it corrected. 1 month later I get a letter that I had NOT activated my phones yet. Called again... Then the doozie happened! I call to make my payment over the phone with my debit card. The C. Service lady gets the number from my card and says her coomputer was not accepting it. I had just recently moved and maybe it was the address... She trys again and still doesn't work so I do a check by phone. 3 days later I had 3 PAYMENTS taken out of my checking acct! I had NSF fees all over!

I spent the next 4 days fixing this mess, getting Cingular to pay for my NSF charges since the caused them and such. I spoke to a supervisor and got FREE new phones out of it too. My rebates NEVER came... I gave up on that one. I upped our plans to 600 anytime and 5000 N/W with roll over. My bills were so huge! I called one day and went over every page of my bill and found calls I never made! Numbers I didn't know! ALWAYS look over your bill and the numbers! I always got some charges removed. Has anyone ever noticed all the misc. Fees too? I can't get anyone to explain them either!
