I have worked for this company for too long. I have watched the political antics and the department managers stick together in keeping things from being exposed to the owner. The managers stick together and back each other up in times of harassment or issues within the workplace.
There is much back biting and tension that it makes a normal regular worker hate coming to work!
There are people doing VERY corrupt things here and yet, I do not say a word because nothing is ever done. As seen in previous times.
There are people who forward their work emails to their home email... So that they can "sue" if they need to. The company as it stands is wide open for several lawsuits... And it is just in the timing until they eventually happen.
I have witnessed harassment in the workplace time and time again without anything being done about it. The HR rep is the owner's daughter and HR is in another state from that in which we work. When you call or contact HR about an issue, it immediatelt gets back to your supervisor, who in turn will call you into their office for a meeting only to threaten your job because you filed a complaint with HR. Nothing is ever done to make the workplace better!
People come and go on a weekly basis, like a revolving door in some departments and still, HR does not see an issue? When someone cares enough to write an email or a letter to HR to let them know about what is really going on... HR sends out an annonymous questionaire for the employees to answer and the supervisor and manager of the department coaxes employees and gives the employees false information as to why they are completing the questionaire in the first place.
There are employees who can cuss out another employee by yelling at them to "F" off and they are still working with a slap on the hand?
So many people complain. Some managers, some employees. They are not happy with their jobs or the office antics, yet nobody speaks up... Because they have seen that nothing happens to better this.
No raises, no merit increases, just more political bullsh*t each and everyday with more and more loaded on the plates of the employees. I wonder if the owner cares as to what is really going on in his business...? Or does he sit back and revel in the dollar made for the day?
So, until changes are made... People will continue to steal, lie, harass and threaten! What a great company to work for! Oh by the way... We are hiring! Come join us in misery!
And for the common consumer? Go to RAND MC NALLY for your map needs. This place is not the best choice at all! Customer service is seriously lacking. Managers have the NOT MY JOB mentality and the customer base is dwindling and lacking because of the lack of effort made from within the company to satisfy!
