ALL that kind Italian charm goes out the door once they stick ya

I was without as car for more than 3 months, so when I got my tax refund check, I headed straight to Sterling, literally! I had been watching vehicles for months and talked with these guys many times before purchasing my car. They were always soft spoken, kind and helpful. I felt as their neighbor I could trust them. Boy was I wrong

I bought a vehicle for $5888 advertised price. I was paying cash, so the only applicable fess are doc& delivery and taxes.
I put my initial $500down and they give me a card that says $6068owed
By the end of the deal I paid $6583. Never got a copy of my agreement, nothing.
I get a call from a lady stating that my final payment is due for $474. They "forgot to add taxes" I told them hell no! I will bring the car back if they are charging me $795 in doc fees??? They told me no deal, I owed it it was an honest mistake on their part. The check engine light came on within 24 hours of purchasing the car, the tires they just"bought" were bald resulting in the SUV sliding all over the road with my 4 children in the rain, no working dash light (which I did have a due bill for) and no rear tail lights.

After arguing with these rude jerks I talk to Vince, the owner. He starts off all sweet and understanding. When he sees that I have a law dictionary with a corresponding list of violations he is commiting, he starts cursing that "He'll eat the f*ing money, but he aint fixing S*!" that due bill, no good, now get the f* out of my shop. Wheres the love you all showed before the purchase??? What he did was not only illegal, it'sjust downright nasty business practices. He would not give me a thing in writing crap about his new terms. I am warning people because I did research and followed up before I bought. They reset the check engine light, bottom line. I am filing a complaint with the proper agencies and hope that noone else gets it stuck to them like I did..."Buyer Beware" and "as-Is" are the terms they threw at me when I asked about the light coming on, LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER I BOUGHT IT!!!
