On Tuesday, 1/26 the nursing home received a phone call from "Ken" of CMC Maintenance & Eagle Clean Solutions. He spoke with two people. He told the Maintenance Supervisor that the corporate office had ordered "Green Gobbler Drain & Sewer Opener" to be delivered to the facility. The Maintenance Supervisor ask him who at the corporate office had OK'd the purchase. He conveniently forgot the name but said the owner of his company (in New York) was very good friends with the CEO of our company (in Louisiana?) and he was sure it would be OK to ship. Again he was told not to ship. He called at least three more times harrassing the personnel to OK the shipment. He never could remember who he talked with at the Corporate office. As administrator of the nursing home I called the corporate office and no one had authorized any shipment to the nursing home. On 2/4/10 after regular business hours the delivery of a 5 gallon bucket of "Green Gobbler Drain & Sewer Opener" was made to the home by UPS. The night nurse signed for the order not knowing about the early phone calls. On 2/5/10 I called 866-439-9096 and asked to speak with "Ken". Immediately "Ken" came on the line. I told him I did not appreciate the hard sell, unethical tactics he had used and did not appreciate him shipping an unordered product. He denied being the "Ken" who called the facility. Two people were on the conference call who had spoken with "Ken". Both said it was the man they talked to and told not to send the product. I will report this company to the BBB and will not pay the invoice.
