We visited William Howell in Blairsville, Ga. To purchase a workers compensation insurance policy for Better Built Homes of Hayesville, LLC. William Howell told us that it was illegal for a company officer to be covered by a workers compensation policy in North Carolina. He sold us an "Accident Insurance" policy for the officer, Mark Wright, and specifically excluded Mark Wright from coverage in the application for the workers compensation policy. At the end of the policy year, AIG conducted an audit and billed us over $13,000 for Mark Wright. My company overpaid AIG by $6,972.00
