I am a licensed insurance agent with a reputable company. I am somewhat new in the business so I decided to use a lead generation service. I did a little looking around online at the various companies I could choose from. I came across this company on my parent company's pre-approved lead service list.
What attracted me to insuranceleads.com was the supposed fact that I could pay as I could go for leads, rather than giving a block of money at once. They advertised that I would get 20 free leads to try their service out. Never explained that you would have to buy at least $200 worth of leads with 90 days. As well, they never explained that the 20 free leads would be from the entire state of Florida, and that at least 4 to 5 other agents would be calling that same person. The rep explained this to me after I got in to their horrible system. Not to mention, half of the people never requested the information, as well as some of them leads were plain bogus!
It was annoying because when I first tried to sign up, their system was freezing.
