I had NPC as my credit card processor for about 4 years. My contract states that it was a 36 month agreement. After about 42 or 43 months i switched to another company and called them to let them know that i needed to cancel because they were continuing to charge me a (ridiculous in itself) monthly "statement" fee. On the phone they made no mention that there was any cancellation fee - nor should there be since i kept to the 36 month contract. A couple months later I saw a $250 fee debited from my checking account that I didn't recognize - and there was no phone number! After a lot of time wasted trying to figure out who this was, it ended up being none other than NPC!
It also seems to me that since they are a processing company, the name it should show under should be NPC, but it didn't. It showed up under another processing company's name: FNBO Direct. Now why would a processing company have to process charges under a different name?
Credit card processing companies are some of the most foul and unethical people in the world. This is another example of why I hope Americans will just stop using credit cards and only use debit cards.
