A friend of mine had bought an "AKC" REGISTERED female yorkie puppy from this ADAM ELLIS that she could no longer keep due to her work schedule and living situation, so I reimbursed her some of her money "buying the puppy" from her. I to have a male that is registered and came from a very repituable breeder, my friend insisted I look into mating the two insisting "her breeder" informed her this female came from a " great pedigree" of yorkie bloodline. I considered the fact and consulted my breeder, she recomended I research the breeder the pup came from file for the pedigree with AKC and perform some routine vetting brfore proceeding. I tried to research this ADAM ELLIS and found nothing, not even a web site. I kinda figured it was a newspaper adversted pup. She did have the papers on the pup, but I found nothing.
Before I continues I consulted my vet and found out this 8 month old baby had a significant open fontanelle (meaning her soft spot never closed) this is considered a birth defect in yorkies and should be avoided when breeding.
