First, they have a secretary that poses as an attorney that will tell you that you only have a short amount of time to comply with the IRS to create urgency. Then, they will say that they can lower the amount owed by thousands. They'll also say that you can make payments too. Basically, they will say anything that will get you to send them the retainer fee. Come to find out, the IRS will do the EXACT same thing, with no fees, not to mention the money you spend with them to do NOTHING could go towards your taxes. Once we contacted them to cancel their services (after speaking to the IRS directly - two days after they withdrew the $500 retainer from our account), we were told that we would receive the refund within 35 days. It's been two months and after calling today and being told "if you shut up for a second, I'll explain it to you", I felt it was my duty to save others from this headache. When I asked if I could talk to the head attorney that was responsible for sending the letter, I was told "he will not take calls, but you can send it in writing". Lovely. Still haven't received the "letter" explaining the refund. Have never received "the call" I was to expect in regards to it. They have NO customer support whatsoever and drag their feet on doing anything. I should've taken others warning seriously and NEVER done business with them... Do yourself a favor, save yourself some money, time and peace of mind and just call the IRS... They WILL work with you if you show the effort.
