I've had a similiar experience as some previous posters. They were of no help and in fact simply took my money and wasted my time.
They take your "deposit - retainer" over the phone BEFORE you get the actual contract with them. Once you read the contract you realize that this is set up in such a way as to only charge you more money.
Then the form letters begin.
If you get a Notice of Lien or anything serious from the IRS - you call to get some attorney help and what do you get... You get a customer service rep who tells you to fax it to them, they will have an attorney look at it right away and call you. Does that happen? NO...
Instead, you get a call from a customer service rep who tells you that "We've received your fax." That's it. Weeks go by and nothing except another form letter.
These people are scammers. I requested a refund since they'd not done a darn thing - hadn't even contacted the IRS - instead I received a call immediately telling me that I've been dropped.
If you're looking for help with tax problems - avoid this agency at all costs. And watch who you go too - there are a lot of organizations that fall under Roni Lynn Deutch agency.
Better to look in your local yellow pages - you might stand half a chance at a real attorney actually calling the IRS to work out a plan for you.
