Citibank NA Credit card product protection, China Airlines, refused to honor their ticket, I had to pay $500 extra

I purchased an on-line Business Class airline ticket on China Airlines from Saigon to Los Angeles. I flew Business Class from Saigon to Taiwan. When I tried to check in for the flight to Los Angeles, China Airlines said the the ticket was business class from Saigon to Taiwan and Economy class from Taiwan to Los Angeles. If I wanted to continue Business Class I would have to pay about $500.00.
