My Verizon DVR all of a sudden said it was 77% full with only 3 hours recorded. I called Verizon support only to be told it might be a phone or internet problem. Huh? I told the guy (in India of course) that the services worked fine and this is a DVR problem. After asking me every question in the world he said he needed to do a line test. Again: huh? But that he now also needed my account number. I don't keep my bills at home so I didn't have it. For that he refused to help me. After 30 minutes of frustration I hung up. 30 minutes later the DVR stopped working. So now I have a DVR that doesn't work making FIOS useless, somewhat like their support. I'm dropping all FIOS services which is OK since it was the WORST DVR I had seen.
