I visited the website off a link from msn.com which led me to fastcashusinggoogle.com. When I clicked on this link to sign up for their offer, it sent the link at secure2. S3curehost.com. I clicked on, read and printed the terms & conditions, which specified a free 7-day trial period. It specifies a charge of $1.98 to access the information initially and I was actually charged $2.97. I agreed to the terms & conditions, entered my credit card information and a short while later received two emails, one from "expense tracker" indicating I would be charged $19.97 monthly membership and it would show up as growfunds.com. I had not realized I was signing up for this service in addition to the internet biz kit. I called and cancelled this membership. I received a seperate email from FastBlogIncome.com with log in information for that site and the notice that I would be charged the $74.97 monthly membership fee unless I called to cancel before the trial period ended. Having read and agreed to the terms and conditions, I assumed I had until Nov. 27th to cancel. On Tuesday, Nov. 24th, after deciding the offer was not for me, I called their customer service number at (877) 204-7404 and spoke with Jenny. I cancelled the membership and was told my account would not be charged. The next day there was a charge deducted from my checking account in the amount of $74.97 which caused me to incur an overdraft protection fee of $30.00. I called this morning to ask for my money back, and was told I actually only had a three day trial period, and since I called on the fourth day, they would not refund my money. I spoke with a "supervisor" and also someone in the "billing department" and was given the same answer. I asked the "supervisor" if she thought this was a fair practice, and she said I should have read all of the fine print (which I thought I had). Apparantly the three day trial period is in the terms and conditions on the following site once you log in and the terms and conditions I read weren't valid for some reason. I asked for specific information, i.E. Mailing address, name of CEO, etc. And was told they could not divulge this information. After much searching, I located the parent name of this company and was able to find them on the BBB. I would like reimbursement of said fees as soon as possible. I am also worried that now that they have access to my account information more will be deducted regardless of the fact that I've cancelled.
