Worked for Teletech, a web-based work from home organization today for over 2yrs. This past year I had been employed due to their BestBuy.com round the breaks. Was informed placement might last thru Feb... Lay 1 several us (more than 500 individuals) were release 3 times before holiday without any caution< Then Feb was hired on to do Tv/Satellite switched. Promised hours only worked 2 days. Now I was rehired for BestBuy.com again this year. My 2nd paycheck was shortted and when I talked to TL about it that is when I get pull in a conference call and was accused of things while taking calls/working. I was told they could hear me zipper something... which is funny since I broke my elbow which has greatly affected my hand so I can no zipper or button anything. Plus my phone is on mute if I am not talking to someone. It was bogus. I figure because I have been with them over 2yrs I now qualify for the 401k program they have. The team lead Rachel Daniels was over the top insisting we email her with everything and keeping track of our time. I did as asked and I was shorted hours. When I brought HER mistake to her, she went off and now I am out of a seasonal job. Also while I am venting, BestBuy.com people please when you call you are talking to a Teletech employee, NOT BEST BUY. We cant not do anything. We are told to just give out coupons. Not try to solve anything. This time of year is bad and good luck to all you who have placed orders for CHRISTMAS..either out of stock or back ordered.
