I went to the Ulta store on Rainbow Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was interested in the Bare Essentials products. My sister used the product and raved about it. The store was very clean and attractive. I had made an appointment for a make-up consultation. My appointment was at 5:30 P.M., and the store closed at 6:00 P.M. A pretty slim blonde was at the Bare Essentials counter. When I approached the counter, all of the sudden the pretty blonde looked at me and decided I was not worth her time and passed me off to another woman. This associate was very nice, but I noticed the make-up she was wearing was uneven and not very pleasant. I sat in the chair with excitement. I knew the make-up was a little expensive for me, but it might be worth it. Since the store was closing the associate rushed. I expressed my desire to watch her put the make-up on me, so I would know exactly how to apply it. She replied that the mirror I was holding got in the way and that she would just have to explain it. When she was done, I looked like a clown. I laughed at first and then I cried. I ended up buying the product, which I love. Through trial and error I think I have figured it out, with no help from Ulta!!! Anyway, out of embarrassment, I never reported the incident. I will still shop at Ulta, but I try to avoid the Sales Associates!
