Rip off - you don't get money to pay taxes from a lottery!

I opened the unmarked, no return address envelope and at first got really excited. It looks so official.

BUT... The ink was smeared from getting wet. RED FLAG, official documents do not use ink jet printers. The body of the letter was unprofessional and smeared. Check looks official and the guy that signs the letter is the CEO of Readers Digest, however, NOBODY sends you money to pay anything when you win a lottery, lotto, sweepstakes, etc. That's retarded! The tip off... You must call before you cash your check. WHY? If it's a real check, then it's mine right? Wrong, it's a fraud and I haven't called the number yet, but I'm curious what fool is on the other end.

I feel really sorry for the people that fall for this, they are usually people who really need this kind of money. Shame on these people. They need to be in jail.
