Received a letter informing us that we were winners in 2007 sweepstakes. Check enclosed - looked authentic amt was 3,050.00 to deposit by 3/31/07 deadline to pay for registration with the states lottery and gaming commission agency before they can release our balance of the 50,248.00. Gave a claim number and told us to call Carol Gates the North American Claim Agent.
Check also stated the sponsors were Publishers Clearning House, Reade4rs Digest and Online Games.
All monies must be claimed by 3/31/07 at which any unclaimed funds will be forfeited.
Wow - unbelievable scam. I feel sorry for older people who may not think it's fake - it's just so freakin' sad!
