Paul Dhondt is a contractor that works under the company name of Mara Vista Contracting. He also works as an "independent" contractor for various reputable companies.
He gets the client's trust and he promises to do contracting work at a very reasonable price. He asks for a deposit for materials and then he dissapears.
He is very professional and even signs a contract with the Mara Vista name. He has stolen large amounts of money from people all over New Jersey.
He has been charged with "theft by deception" charges - serves the jail time and then goes out and does it again. I believe he has several warrants for his arrest in NJ. Do not give this man any money for any reason! You will never see it again. He is an All-American type and does not give the impression of being a scam artist. Beware!!!
