Michael Nicholas Skoubis is a con artist taking advantage of people in serious family problems, he should be disbarred and in jail, he ripped me off. His initial retainer was 10,000.00 then he settled for 3,500.00. March 31 i paid him 3,500.00 after that, it was like pulling teeth, he didn return my numerous calls, it was always excuses, he was out of town on family reunion or wedding, or someone was in hospital with terminal illness, or he had a funeral, several times he would set up appointment and he wound show up this is Mr. Michael Skoubis Attorney at Law only there to rob you and try to disappear. After nine months waiting to get divorced i hired a professional and less then tree months i was divorced with no problem. I took my complain to small claim court on in Skokie, i won judgment on 9/14, but i haven't heard nothing from him. I Know there are lots of people out there that he ripped off. Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission are trying to get in touch with him too, he dint show up for a board hearing, hope they disbar him and hope he pays back all the hard working people that he robbed and spends time in jail, should be punished too, we need help in desperate times not get robbed. I was referred by a and relative of him both lawyers figure that out! He even shames his family.
