James Spooner is my husband/soon to be ex-husband. We have been seperated since 1986.in that time, he has been married at least 2 times that I know of.
Not only has he been married twice without divorcing me, he has also been legally divorced both times. I know this because I called the Family Probate court in MASS, and was told that there were 2 divorces but neither was a divorce FROM ME!!! He put on one of the divorces that it was his first marriage, and the second that he had been divorced from the first. The only problem with that is I AM THE FIRST WIFE and WE ARE STILL MARRIED!!!
At one point, years ago after I had heard about the first marriage, I called the court in our city, and was told by the woman that answered: WE DO NOT REALLY GO AFTER PEOPLE FOR THAT ANYMORE!!! Now, in order for me to marry my fiancee, I have to get divorced from this man, who not only is a bigamist, but was also VERY MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE to me!!! He should have to pay for this not me, or I should just be granted a divorce under the circunstances.
