I've a Cricut Words Die Cutting Device that's from guarantee. This device sells for approximately $400.00. A plastic part that retains the slicing edge in position smashed and, after I called Provo Art to buy an upgraded component, I had been informed they do not market the components since it could be too complex to correct. They agreed to deliver me a restored machine for $200.00 plus delivery and handling after I delivered them my damaged device. Delivery charges to deliver and obtain could be believed at $70.00 therefore, main point here is, my $400.00 device might charge me $270.00 to correct! My spouse is actually really gifted so he produced a brand new component out-of metal (that one wont split) and fixed my device having a bit of his period and some cents (nicely, perhaps the metal he used charge a bit more). Easily did not have so much cash tangled up in tubes and materials for this device, I would have thrown it in the place of spend $270.00 for repairs. If it stops working again, and my spouse isn't ready to correct it, I'll possibly promote the components and do precisely that (crap the equipment).
