I wanted software designed. Emad Younis contacted in response to my Craigs list ad and said okay for $2,000. I paid him an extra $1000 for speedy completion. He did not follow instructions correctly. But having pity for how many hours he (claimed to have) put in I offered him an additional $1000 to do it right. He came up with new innovations and asked if Id pay extra, eventually I agreed to give him and extra $3,000 to complete it the way it should have been completed with his special innovations. He did not trust me but expected me to trust him. I got tired of depositing $1,000 in his bank account so he could work on my project and I threatened to sue. This seemed to scare him so he sent me the finished product first. I tried to install it on both of my computers and it would not work no matter what. So I wrote him and told him this. He wrote me statements bordering on belligerence so I responded by giving him a piece of my mind. Then he told me there was no way I was going to sue him because Emad Younis was not his real name and he already moved out of his residence. I saved this email. If you are contacted by anyone from richmediacenter.com or with any of the contact info listed above, dont hire unless you like incompetent service from a possible crook out to suck you bank account dry. He got me for over $7,000 so far and seemed amused by it. If you do make an appointment take the police with you and ask them to verify the identification of the person you are meeting. Seeing that this was the first time I ever had a program designed and was a little naive on matters, he refused to give me the source codes. What a shady, character. Maybe he did not want to give me the source code because he put spyware or a Trojan horse in my program (maybe). I had to point out to him his contract disregard and the incompleteness of the project on approximately seven occasions. Each time her resubmitted the project claiming it was complete, I found up to 50% of the contract undone. Thus he stretched out a three week project into to four months and counting. (I told him Id pay another $7,000 just to be able to forget about him).
My Assessment:
*Cannot get it right the first time, no matter what
*50% competent/50% gypsy
*Thinks you are nothing but a dollar sign
*Will not follow contract and manipulates you into giving him more and more thousands of dollars.
*Expects you to rely on his promise instead of a written contract (cannot follow written contract)
*Will harshly criticize you if you lose it due to his contract disregard and slowness
I think he should rename his business to gypsy media center (May the buyers beware)! Or turtle media center
My project was supposed to cost $3,000 and be completed in three weeks. Its been over four months now and after blowing $7 grand on this punk the program is still incomplete.
