Ordered direc tv 11/14 i was told i would receive free HBO, starz and showtime for 3 months. Represenative told me i qualified for showtime and sports pack free for 1 year. I received email showing sports pack and showtime free. Checked credit card to see what was billed. I was billed for sports pack. Called spoke with supervisor she advised no such offer as sports pack free 1 year. She advised me i could disconnect by Dec 4 and receive prorated bill and no early disconnection fee since it had not been 15 days. I disconnected on dec 3 nightmare began. I have contacted Direct Tv many times trying to explain information i was given. There response sorry i was given misinformation but we are still billing you 426 early termination fee now turned over to collection for 520. Beware of any dealings with Direct Tv. I have been told by Office of President of Direct TV that they are billing me because they delivered what they promised, but they did not I had a billing dispute and disconnected as instructed by supervisor of Direct TV. Terrible company, do not do business with them even if you have in writing they still will not stand behind there agreement of customer satisfaction they are out to get money from customers any way the can. They have no one who oversees their practices I contacted BBB and Consumer Affairs no help Direct TV needs to accept responsibility of the misinformation I received from their supervisor and waive termination fee, but I don't think that will happen they are only concerned with collecting money not owed to them
