I can assure you that Apex is affiliated with First American. As a matter of fact FAPS "First American" owns Apex as well as Transtech, Summit, and Elliot. The president of Apex Andy Frankel was previously the president of Transtech and Summit. The chief operating officer of Apex "Art Banks" as well as the both vice presidents of Apex "Brant Noland and Guy Holmes" all came from Transtech and Summit.
The new president of Transtech "Tony Nori" is the former president of Elliot. Do you see how all of this ties in together now? They simply move people around and start new companies to get new reps, merchants, and BBB ratings after the other companies have a black eye.
As a matter of fact alot of merchants switch to one of the other companies after getting upset with the current one and dont realize they fall under the umbrella, simply switching to the same company with a different name. I'm not saying that any of these companies are bad or are doing the wrong thing. I just simply thought I should educate people on these companies.
