I bought a time share from them with the understanding that they were going to buy the current time share I owned. All contracts would be mailed to me in three weeks.
I received nothing, so I contacted the Phoenix Vacation Property Managment, the name of the company wich was to resale my other timeshare, and inquired about the check that was to have been sent to me.
The lady at this company, Alex Stewart, said that I was to send $573.85 for registering the resale agreement. She admitted that my timeshare had not been bought by El Cid but that her company was to sell it. I sent her the money using my credit card. I did it.
The transaction with ElCid took place on 6/29/09.
On 7/31/09, I received a bill from El Cid Vacation Club in SanDiago Ca. For $48,000, which was th balance of the loan I was to have taken out. This was to be paid monthly at $747.83. I do not recall signing any thing like that, and have no copies of such a sale. They said I signed it. Again, I sent that money to them by my credit card because they said if I didn't, they were going to charge me late fees.
I have not been able to get ahold of anyone at El Cid timeshare sales.
