In the beginng of March it was the beginning of one horrible nightmare with a joke of a company and with the owner VICTOR G PETERSEN THE BIGGEST JOKE OF ALL!
The purchase price was listed on the internet for 183K when went into the VIP model office to check out the model we liked the price was listed at 196K
13,000 dollars more. We ended up loving the house so we sat down filled out the required forms and began the home buying process. Signed a form that stated what house we liked as well as, colors, lot etc. No where in the documents does it say that it is a legally binging document but that it is a form that lets the builder (VIP) know what we are interested in.
Fast forward to july the house is entering the finishing stages.
Now all of a sudden we are being told that we cannot do conventional but that we have to go FHA. Fine!
Then the price for the house drops and is listed at 167K.
Called the lender department left messages after message with a Travis Moore-VIP Mortgage - (OWNED ALSO BY THE JOKER HIMSELF-VICTOR G PETERSON) to get back with use before we went any further with the loan.
Got a call from the JOKER himseld (WOW) Victor.
He stated that it does not matter what the price was listed at on the net we had already purchased our house. (which we had not)
Said that the house was already ours as well as the land and there was nothing he could or would do about the price.instead of it being handled in a calm and professional matter.
Victor G Petersen - kept speaking over anything we tried to ask or say and continued to THREATEN that he would sue if we even thought about backing out of the deal.
I think i goes unsaid that if you own a company that has the reputation that VIP homes does, wouldn't you want to keep go repore with your customers?
In Victor G Petersens case that would be a definate NO.
Who ever else is other there dealing with the Stupidity of the JOKER Himself file a complaint! Cause not only did i put one on this I also filed with the BBB.
