Sleepys denied the exchange of a non-structually sound bed, and can't explain why

Alittle over a year ago, my wife and I went into a sleepys showroom in search of a new bed. We don't have alot of money, and are saving for a house. The first thing the salesperson did was have us do the sleep profile machine. This is where they read how you sleep and the machine decides what mattress is correct for you.

The machine picks out a kingsdown mattress that the salesperson highly reccommended for its high quality and long lasting durability. Ultimately, the salesperson forced us into believing this was the best set on the showroom floor, because of it's lifetime warranty and high quality. I thought i couldn't go wrong with a lifetime warranty. I bought everything brand new right there. Everything the machine picked out, mattress, boxspring, frame, headboard, mattress cover and even pillows, all to be delivered that night to my house.

The mattress was fine at first, very comfortable and a pleasure to sleep on. Then we started noticing that we weren't sleeping as well as we had when we first bought the set. Keep in mind this mattress and box spring have always been rotated according to kingsdown specifications. After taking off the mattress protector I saw the sides of the mattress are completely collapsed. The foam is bowing out of both sides. Shocked that my four thousand dollar mattress set would even come close to looking like this i called sleepys right away.

The inspector came out to my house and took measurements of the mattress. I asked him to take detailed pictures of the sides of the mattress and he replied that he is only supposed to take measurements. Sleepys called a day or two later and left me a voicemail stating that my claim was unable to be processed because my bedding is up to manufactuer standards.

Outraged, I called back and asked for management. I got "Shantel" and consumer relations specialist, who is in no way special at all. She claimed that she is only at liberty to tell me that my mattress is up to standard, and refused to allow me to talk to any kind of management. She stated that her job is to deal with these situations, and there is no need for a manager.

I read my warranty agreement and it states that warranty claims are valid if the mattress of boxspring are no longer structurally sound. I have photographs of my mattress, and i am soon going into a sleepys showroom to take a picture of the bed i once purchased. I am then going to publish the comparison and plaster it all over the internet. Craigslist, consumer affairs, and better buisness will be recieving a copy of the email as well.
