I signed up for reports on Intelius and filled out the form to receive a $20 discount on the Intelius membership fee. I do not remember seeing any small or phantom print describing ValMax. Yet I have received monthly charges of $19.95 for the past several months. When i called ValMax at 888-241-0049 they readily agreed to cancel membership and refund the last month's charge, but would do nothing about the previous two months. Please note that I never received any welcome notice or membership information as to benefits or privileges afforded by belonging to ValMax, nor did I ever receive any discount or monetary benefit of that membership. Rip-Off, Rip-Off Rip-Off! I guess it is a new era where it is possible for such scams to be performed over the internet with virtual impunity for these companies!
