Cramming Ripoff consumer fraud ripoff

Vacant Sun, also known as Genesis, has attacked my checking account on three separate occasions for $99.95 each. What they are doing is called "Cramming". These companies are set up to take small "unnoticeable" amounts from your credit / debit card.

I have been "attacked" by 7 different companies: Mega Rewards for $96.00, Direct One (AKA: Freedom Starr Communications, Long Distance Subs, American Fone, Prefferred Alliance) for $1,025.08, and Shopper's Discount for $192.00 (AKA: Encore Marketing). I have recieved all of the money back from Direct One, Shopper's Discount and American Fone.

I am still waiting for Vacant Sun. I researched this company as far as I could but it always comes to a dead end. I do believe, however, that all of these companies are connected. Genesis or Vacant Sun started the ball rolling and opened the door to the rest of these companies.

I purchased an item online of over the phone and Vacant Sun was a pop-up or special purchase. Once you have entered your credit card number online or on the phone the company you are buying from offers you a "Special" free trial from Vacant sun. If you say you don't want it this company will say you said yes and give the info to Vacant sun so they can get the commission. If you order online the pop-up comes up and if you don't click the NO button they will take it as a yes. This is what is called Cramming.

Vacant Sun has a class action lawsit against the in another state. They somehow incriminate Preferred Alliance in this suit. Call your attorney general and the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint. They may be able to pull all of the states together. Do not back down or take no for an answer. I wrote letters to them letting them know that I would be sending a copy to the BBB and the attorny General. I recieved checks from them within 3 weeks.
