For all those who have been scammed, will be, or to prevent scams in the futurelisten up. I was received a position as a Sports Supervisor/Sports Director from an employer through careerbuilder.com. I had to write a cover letter or why I deserve this amazing and fun position. I have an extensive background in sports retail as well as working with the general public. I believed this would have been a great position for me to help promote this Internet business: overtime.Us.com. I spoke to Brian Edwards (if that is his real name). After doing what I would call a professional phone interview, I was given the job. I was told for the first month I would be a Sports Director and after that I would than be a Sports Supervisor. You are free to promote this website anyway you want, but you will need these flyers in the beginning. I was told that I would receive an order with these cards/flyers for $20.00, which would include the shipping and handling fees. We did a phone conversation recording, where I would say yes or no to the responses. I gave my credit card because just like anyone in these difficult economic times, I needed a job. I thought of it as an Investment in the beginning of a career.

I got a 51 pound box in about a week. I opened it up and looked at it. I was told once I get the box to look at the materials, and to call Brian up and proceed with the next instructions. Opening the box would not allow me to return it for a full refund, which I did not know about, nor did he say to me in any conversation. Once Brian knew I opened it he told me to put my ID code on every flyer. He told me to buy a stamp, which I would also have to pay for. I did not do that; instead I just put the code in by pen, but not on all of them. I started handing them out to various areas.

A couple weeks later, I got my credit card slip in the mail from my bank, Bank of America (BOA). I saw a charge from a company I did not recognize for $1,920. I have never in my life spent so much on one purchase on my credit card statement except for my college education. I immediately called up BOA, and told them that I do not recognize the merchant. They looked up information about the merchant, and what do you know, there was no information about the company. BOA requested additional information from the merchant (if the merchant would not respond, then I would have gotten refunded). Of course he responded and waited till the very last day to respond to this dispute. Also, once I saw this unusual charge I decided to do some research on this company. I found an article on consumer complaints about someone getting scammed by the same company. At that moment, I knew this was a deceptive business. I never called back overtime.Us.com.in the following weeks I would see more and more people getting screwed by the same group of people, using different names and or web-sites (but with the same concept).

I believe that if anyone does put their credit card information in/on their secure website, that they too will be a victim of fraud. The promoters are helping this excuse for a business to take money from the lives of many Americans whether through recruiting or through signing people up with their credit card.

In early July, BOA sent me some paper work and information. They took their sweet time on giving BOA this fraudulent information.in fact they waited till the very last day to reply to BOA, before they would have automatically credited me back. They sent me many pages and an already prepared letter to BOA. They say and I quote, We also do a tape-recorded voice confirmation/contract with cardholders as an additional confirmation of the amount chargedand refund policy.in addition the letter states that the cardholder has not returned the product and will not receive a full refund, and that it avoids the returned policy as discussed. If I had known of this transaction purchase, I would not have opened the package. Also, a return policy was never discussed or implied anywhere in the taped conversation.
I believe the taped conversation was altered. After all, all I had to say was yes to the conversation questions.

I will quote 2 questions that I never agreed to and / or were altered:

Graphic Today: Do you understand that you will have the option of paying approximately $20.00-$25.00 per month which represents your minimum payment required by your credit card company towards the full amount charged for the Promotional flyers?

Of course my answer says Yes, but I never was given this option as a question to say yes or no to.

Graphic Today: Do you understand that Graphic Today will charge your credit card $1,920.00 for 8,000 Promotional flyers at. 24 cents each?

And once again my answer is Yes. This statement was tweaked, and all he said was I would pay $20 not $1,920.

Who in their right mind would pay that much for flyers per month and that many? How many people whether out of college or just looking for a job would spend that much in one month when one knows that it is not relatively possible to make that much money back within a fair amount of time for an expanding/start-up business?

I figured out that some people were charged $960, but I was charged double that, (he must not have received much business as of late). On the invoice it says I ordered a Quantity of 8,000. The description says Sports Promotional 4 Color Flyers (Custom print job with Id Code offer). It also says in bold Cardholder agreed with refund policy in their tape-recorded contract. My flyer has an empty box that says ID CODE. You call that a custom print job!

Anyway, BOA told me to call up Brian again and to try to get a partial refund. I called him, and he finally picked up. I argued with him. He never once offered me a refund. He insulted me by saying I'm sorry you were not listening or paying attention during our conversation about the $1,920 amount. I said that never happened, it was suppose to be $20.00. Arguing with him wasn't going to get anywhere. And I knew, just like another consumer complaints suggested, that he was going to stall time once again. He told me I have gotten others to sign up, whether that is true or not I would hope not. I believe he is just saying that. Also, he is going to send me a check. I am not going to cash that check as it will probably take money out of my account. Or it might be a $200 check for example. This is a trick to make me think that this company is legit. I know that it is not, and that this is an immoral person. I await further information from my bank. I will add more once I receive more information.

In summary, this business took my credit card info and used it for harm, as well as many others or soon-to-be hard-working men and women. I write this so people tell others all over the World Wide Web to be careful and realize that there are many immoral people who will stoop so low as to harm others with this financial burden. This must stop!

Thank you for all those who read this long article and I know through times of difficulty it makes me feel good that there are others out there with problems like mine, where we are all working together to bring down this piece of garbage.
