I responded to a craigslist posting regarding getting a quote to buy our timeshare. That was the bait. I filled out the online form and received a email that someone would be contacting me soon to give me a price to buy the timeshare. Sure enough Mary Pat Burns called and wanted an up front fee to advertise the timeshare. This was the switch. After several emails when I stood my ground insisting they give me the quote on buying they fell silent. I have researched dozens of these timeshare resale companies and have yet to find one that is not a scam. Never pay upfront fees. The timeshare market is flat at best and their promises can't fix that.
