I was conned into employment by these people by an online ad on craigslist.com I found an ad that said something along the lines of work play and party call Paul for details ect. Ect. I called when I called The job sounded good and legit I asked him for the company name for reference. He gave me some phoney name that nothing would show up on if I referenced it online. I was still interested being a young adult with little to no money I decided it was worth a shot they even purchased a bus ticket to get me out there to where this particular crew was located. I was under the impression it was an entry level sales job with room for an individual to grow a career out of it, they had me hooked, after I arrived in the state they was currently in I met the crew and was welcomed in with open arms then they made me sign a shady contract which had stated that all operations and tactics they used were confidential ect. Ect. So I am probably breaking this contract by posting this, so I will remain anonymous after that they took me out and started training me and to my astonishment members of the crew knew that what they were doing is illegal by selling in countys where a peddlers license is required without one. They was under the impression it was just cheaper to pay to get a crew member out of jail than to pay for the whole group to be legal and have licenses. That isn't even the worse part. They tactics they used to sell this stuff was to completely lie to the consumers and pose as school children and charity/non-profit organizations. I personally witnessed 2 members go to jail, and the manager did pay for there bail, but I was told that he would only do that if I was doing everything correct and didn't say a word to the police about what was really going on ect. Ect. So basically if I snitched I would get left behind in jail as they moved on to the next location. Luckily I was never arrested while out training with these scumbags. One of the biggest eye openers for me was when we had walked to a nice lady's door and she asked for one of the receipts and googled it and came out with a rip off report stating the same sales pitch they was training me to use. I instantly knew that I had to quit and go back home. When I had asked for financial support to go home they laughed at me and said I have not earned the company enough to go home yet. So I asked for some help from home and got cashed wired to me.
Needless to say if you ever see any position online to work as an entry level sales rep be cautious I wouldn't want anyone to go through the ordeals I had to deal with because of these people.
